Hi again, welcome to my small world. The other day, I was walking in the center of a small town called Wassenaar on my way to pick up my daughter from school when I saw a girl, or I would say a young lady, wearing a chef's white uniform just passing by. I felt the power of that jacket, it's like when you have it on, it gives you a powerful feeling, like you have a mission that you need to accomplish ,I remember when I used to wear it, at that time I couldn't be more proud of myself!

Not everyone understands or even gets it, when you serve people food, it's like sharing a piece of your passion to touch them from inside, making them feel warm and happy!

Today, I will be sharing a day in my life when I prepare food for two days because I will be working and I want my family to have a delicious, warm meal...

I made a delicious tomato soup.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil plus more for drizzling

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, or an additional 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 medium yellow onions, chopped

  • 1 big carrot, chopped

  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped

  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

  • 1 kg tomatoes

  • 3 cups water or vegetable broth

  • Method:

You can follow the video for the steps; it's pretty easy to do. I chopped everything, then drizzled the olive oil and seasoned with salt and pepper. Just mix with your hands, give it a nice stir, then bake until everything is well cooked. Add some butter to the pan and thyme, then add the rest of the ingredients and hot water. Cook for about 10 minutes, then using a hand mixer or a blender, mix until you have a smooth mixture. Time to serve, either with garlic bread or cheese toast or anything you prefer. Garnish with some Parmesan, add olive oil, balsamic, and enjoy!

The chicken,

Normally for me, every time I do the same, I just season it with the spices that I love: black pepper, cloves, curry, chicken tandoori, turmeric for the golden color when you mix it with tomato paste.

Add hot boiling water, mix, then season your chicken and cover. Bake until well done, then remove the cover and grill for about 10 minutes to achieve that amazing color. Don't forget to always season your chicken. This is just a simple recipe, easy to make and easy to follow.

Here are some pictures and a video so you can have the full idea. I hope you like it, and see you next time.!
