I love this cookie recipe in particular because it reminds me of my good friend
my first ever boss here in the Netherlands , i used to work in a bakery shop
it was a bakery but made everything from scratch like really fresh baked, i learned a lot from
she was and still a kind good friend no words describe how helpful person she is
.. one day we tried to make this recipe and it did work and it was a good seller
today i made it again and it just made me remember the good old days ....
i used normal flour and i used brown sugar didn't have the white in the house ..
warm up the oven on 175 degrees
bake for 15 minutes
i don't have ice cream scoop it would be perfect but my way worked good too
recipe :
2½ cups all purpose flour
¾ tsp. baking soda
¾ tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
1½ cups sugar
1 cup butter, softened
1 egg
¼ cup lemon juice
1 tbsp. lemon zest
½ tbsp. vanilla
Sugar for rolling cookie dough, optional
Lemon Cream Frosting
½ cup butter, softened
2 cups confectioners’ sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
In a medium bowl using an electric mixer, cream butter, then mix in sugar and lemon juice.
